The T8 STC is a leader in development of DWDM and CWDM systems in Russian and CIS countries. The T8 STC performs scientific researches for the Т8 Company. The T8 STC is the Skolkovo Fund resident. Main fields of activity of the Center include scientific researches for the tasks of development of modern data transmission equipment and scientific researches for the tasks of improvement of the methodology of design of high-speed fiber optic communication systems. Also the Center performs research and development projects for external customers. World-class achievements of the T8 STC and its laboratory include world record in transmission of 1 Tbit/s signal in a 500 km span, world record in transmission of 100G signal in a 4000 km line in a 80-channel DWDM system, and development of DWDM system with a capacity of 27 Tbit/s over a single fiber optic link. The T8 STC has a profound experience in development of different devices for various tasks of optical physics. The laboratory of the center is equipped with the most up-to-date measurement equipment and is the largest one in Russia.
