NATIONAL RADIO ASSOCIATION
 
The Association of the National Radio Frequency Resource Users - NATIONAL RADIO ASSOCIATION was founded in November 1997 under support of the State Commission for Radio Frequencies (GKRCh), the State Commission of the Russian Federation for Communication and Information Technology  and the General State Supervisory Department for Communications in the Russian Federation.
The National Radio Association is aimed at integration of efforts of telecommunications operators and manufacturers for resolution of the spectrum issues and implementation of new radio technology in the Russian Federation.
 
THE MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE NATIONAL RADIO ASSOCIATION:
 
representation and protection of the interests of spectrum users in the State Commission of the Russian Federation for Radio Frequency;
support and direct participation in development, jointly with federal executive bodies for communications, information technologies, antimonopoly and tax policy, of laws and other regulatory documents relevant to issues of radio spectrum use and importation of radioelectronic equipment and taking into account the interests of operators the members of the National Radio Association;
integration and coordination of intellectual and financial efforts of concerned operators to resolve various radio spectrum issues;
information and legal provision on spectrum issues for operators.
